Printers?!?!

Hey everyone, I was wondering what kind of printer you all have. I really need to get something new. Right now I have the Kodak Easyshare 4x6 dock that goes with my camera, and a regular HP printer. The HP ALWAYS runs out of ink. And it is about $60 to get the 2 ink cartridges for it. The Kodak is $20 for 40 pictures I think. So last night I was watching Celebrity Apprentice and they had a large Kodak printer on the show. So I went to the website and they have a special going for them. Do any of you have one of these or no anyone who does? The ink is crazy cheap! I really need something new-any suggestions?! Thanks!

VERY interesting, because my husband and I watching the Celebrity Apprentice show for the first time, and I was really interested in what they were saying about the Kodak printer too! I have a Canon i560, and I wouldn't recommend it. I need ink AGAIN, and I have to use Canon ink. I've had a problem with "compatible" ink cartridges. I do not print photos at home, and I would LOVE to! Good luck. Post a pic of what you get if you get one!

I have the HP & know what your talking about. The ink is so expensive, & I print a lot of tutorials & pics of cards that I like & put them in binders so that later on I can make one of the cards that I printed. I don't use it for photos its cheaper to have them printed at Kodak or Shutterfly (thats where I go for prints. Take a picture of the one you decide to get & let us know how you like it. Good Luck!

I have an Epson RX620. It is an all in one, so it scans and prints as well. It also has a built in media card reader, which is nice as well. There are 6 inks which each cost about $15, but at Sam's you can get the whole shebang for $59.99, which is what I do. I find the ink lasts for awhile, even when it keeps telling me that I only have 10% of the color left. I am not sure if this model is still available though, but I am sure there is something comparible to it out there.
